TryBar is owned and operated by FCB Technical LLC ("TryBar", "we", "our", or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, protect, and retain information when you use the TryBar mobile application, TryBar web console, websites, and related services.

By using TryBar, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly, information collected automatically, and information needed to operate TryBar features.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, health information, financial account numbers, or precise payment card details.

2. Location Information

TryBar uses location information to help users find nearby venues and calculate distance to locations. Location access is controlled by your device settings and may be disabled at any time.

Depending on your device permissions and app configuration, TryBar may request access to location while the app is in use. If background location access is requested, it is used only to support TryBar location-based functionality and is optional. You can change or revoke location permissions through your iOS or Android device settings.

We do not sell your location information. We do not use your location information for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

FCB Technical LLC uses trusted third-party service providers to operate TryBar. These providers process information on our behalf or as necessary to provide their services.

These providers may process information only as needed to deliver, secure, support, or improve TryBar. We do not sell personal information.

5. Payments and Subscriptions

Location owner subscriptions are managed by FCB Technical LLC through the TryBar web console and processed securely by Stripe. TryBar does not store full credit card numbers, bank account numbers, or card security codes. Stripe may collect and process payment information according to its own privacy policy and legal obligations.

Subscription status may be stored by TryBar so we can determine whether a managed location is active, in demo mode, expired, canceled, or otherwise eligible for display and management features.

6. Analytics, Logs, and Diagnostics

We may collect usage data, diagnostics, crash information, logs, device information, and performance metrics to maintain and improve TryBar. Where practical, analytics are aggregated or anonymized.

We do not use this information for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

8. Account Access, Correction, and Deletion

You may view and update certain account information in the TryBar app or web console, depending on your account type and permissions.

If you want to delete your account, you may initiate account deletion from within the app where available or contact us at support@trybar.io. When your account is deleted, we delete or anonymize personal information associated with your account unless retention is required for legal, security, fraud prevention, billing, tax, or dispute resolution purposes.

Location owners should note that some business records, subscription records, invoices, audit records, or location management history may be retained as required for legitimate business, security, legal, or accounting purposes.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide TryBar, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and support legitimate business operations.

Account data is generally retained while your account is active. After deletion, backup copies may remain for a limited period before being overwritten or removed through normal backup lifecycle processes.

10. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls, authentication controls, and secure cloud infrastructure practices.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and respond appropriately to security issues.

11. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or portability of your personal information. You may also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing.

If you are a California resident, California law may provide you with additional rights regarding your personal information. We do not sell personal information and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

The categories of personal information we may collect include identifiers, internet or electronic network activity information, geolocation information, commercial information related to subscriptions, and information you provide through support or account management interactions.

13. International Data Processing

TryBar is operated from the United States. Your information may be processed and stored in the United States or other locations where we or our service providers operate. Data protection laws in these locations may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

14. Children's Privacy

TryBar is not intended for children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

TryBar may display information about venues that are subject to age restrictions. Users are responsible for complying with applicable laws, venue policies, and age requirements.

15. App Store and Google Play Privacy Disclosures

When we submit TryBar to Apple App Store or Google Play, we provide platform privacy disclosures based on the data collected by the app. Those disclosures should match this Privacy Policy and the actual behavior of the app.

Depending on enabled features, TryBar may disclose collection of contact information, identifiers, location information, user content, usage data, diagnostics, and subscription-related information. TryBar does not use collected data for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

16. Emails and Communications

We may send service-related emails, including account, security, claim, subscription, support, and administrative messages. Where marketing messages are sent, you may opt out using the instructions provided in the message or by contacting us.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of TryBar after an update means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
